觀察植物的英語日記：

昨天晚上我們一家一起去爸爸的同事張勇叔叔家吃飯，張勇叔叔自己在陽臺上種了小草莓，草莓還沒有成熟，只結出了兩三個，其他的都是小花。那些小花是白色的，每一小瓣兒都是尖尖的，呈三角狀，中間的花蕊是綠色的，上面有一點點小毛。花朵下面有一個像手掌一樣的花托，這個“手掌花托”的每一個“手指”都連著花瓣，雖然是耷拉著腦袋的，可顯得很結實，很精神。
再說說小草莓吧，開始草莓是從綠色的花蕊里面長出來，剛長出來的小草莓是白色的，上面有細細的毛，看上去很滑稽，白色的球狀果實長了一層細細的絨毛，就像是發霉了一樣，難道這就是“草莓”稱呼的來源?哈哈……
草莓再長大一點的時候，細細的毛就變成顆粒狀，是綠色的，草莓果肉還是白色的，但跟花蕊離得近的地方的果肉就開始微微泛紅，草莓成熟的.時候就都變成紅色的了，顆粒也跟著變成紅色的了，也就是我們平時吃的草莓。
草莓的葉子是橄欖形的，邊緣呈鋸齒狀，不過，有一個奇怪的現象，有一部分的葉子是邊緣是紅色的，里面是綠色的，有一部分的葉子是邊緣是綠色的，再往里一點就變成了深紅色，不過只是一條，里面就都是紅橙顏色的，還有一部分的葉子邊緣也是綠色的，再往里一點就變成了深紫色，也只有一條里面就都是黃色的了，大部分葉子都是綠色的。
這些小草莓每一階段有每一階段的可愛，但是最可愛的，還是成熟了的草莓吧!
