Halloween is a holiday celebrated on October 31. By tradition，Halloween begins after sunset. Long ago，people believed that witches gathered together and ghosts roamed the world on Halloween. Today，most people no longer believe in ghosts and witches. But these supernatural beings are still a part of Halloween.
The colors black and orange are also a part of Halloween. Black is a symbol for night and orange is the color of pumpkins. A jack-o'-lantern is a hollowed-out pumpkin with a face carved on one side. Candles are usually placed inside，giving the face a spooky glow.

今天下午，我上完英語(yǔ)課后，我聽(tīng)到HAPPY老師說(shuō)：“今天晚上有個(gè)叫“萬(wàn)圣節(jié)英語(yǔ)沙龍”活動(dòng)，想?yún)⒓拥男∨笥芽梢詠?lái)我這里報(bào)。”
我吃完晚飯就來(lái)到了新東方的十二教室，參加活動(dòng)。
活動(dòng)開(kāi)始了，JINI老師和我們一起玩了兩個(gè)游戲。首先玩的游戲叫“你問(wèn)我答”，JINI老師用英語(yǔ)問(wèn)問(wèn)題，讓我們用英語(yǔ)回答她提的問(wèn)題，答出來(lái)題的人，獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)一塊糖，答不出來(lái)的人呢？罰做大象鼻子轉(zhuǎn)十圈！我答對(duì)了三個(gè)題，得到了三塊糖。
第二個(gè)游戲叫“英語(yǔ)大沖關(guān)”，這個(gè)游戲必須分成A組和B組兩個(gè)大組，每組有一個(gè)組名（就是小組的`名字），我給小組起的名是——小女巫組。這個(gè)游戲是每個(gè)組請(qǐng)出一位挑戰(zhàn)者，然后石頭剪刀布，誰(shuí)贏了，誰(shuí)就會(huì)成為最后的勝利者。最后的沖關(guān)是這樣的：先是你要人一些卡片，如果你都會(huì)認(rèn)，那接下來(lái)接難了，要你學(xué)大象鼻子轉(zhuǎn)世一圈，然后繞過(guò)障礙五到一個(gè)水盆旁，用嘴去咬盆里的蘋(píng)果，要是你咬到了就獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)一塊糖，要是沒(méi)有咬到就會(huì)為另一組加一分。經(jīng)過(guò)大家的努力，我們組最后取得了勝利。
這真是一次別有意義的英語(yǔ)沙龍啊！

昨天，我的英語(yǔ)班開(kāi)了一次聚會(huì)，我邀請(qǐng)了尹菲和我放學(xué)一起去參加。
我們剛?cè)サ侥膬海吹侥抢镉幸欢迅魇礁鳂拥拿婢撸凶仙模谐壬模蟹凵模邪咨?……我們選 了自己喜歡的面具，英語(yǔ)老師就給我們戴上了，然后，我們就進(jìn)了大教室。那里裝飾得很配萬(wàn)圣節(jié)，老師們用紙做了大蜘蛛、蝙蝠和蜘蛛網(wǎng)掛在燈上。還買了幾只玩具蜘蛛掛在墻上，還做了一些蜘蛛網(wǎng)掛在墻上。她們還買了一些很小的南瓜燈放在角落和比較暗的地方，因?yàn)槟菚r(shí)候沒(méi)開(kāi)燈。
老師們?yōu)榱俗屛覀冇X(jué)得更恐怖，還放了一些恐怖的歌給我們聽(tīng)。后來(lái)人都來(lái)齊了，老師就拿出來(lái)了一個(gè)壇子，上面有很多動(dòng)物。我們就玩了一個(gè)游戲，游戲規(guī)則是，選兩個(gè)人，老師說(shuō)到什么動(dòng)物，你就得踩到那個(gè)動(dòng)物上面，誰(shuí)踩到的動(dòng)物最多誰(shuí)就贏了。而且，每贏一局就可以得一顆糖果。老師還教了我們“不給糖就搗蛋”用英語(yǔ)怎么說(shuō)。
玩了游戲，老師又帶著我們?nèi)プ瞿瞎蠠簦驗(yàn)槟瞎侠锩娴臒舨粔颍晕覀冎蛔隽艘粋�(gè)橙色的南瓜。做完南瓜燈我們又去用亮粉畫(huà)畫(huà)，我畫(huà)的是一些不一樣的糖果……
今天玩得真開(kāi)心!希望英語(yǔ)班能多組織一些好玩的活動(dòng)!
