環境保護英語作文(一)
"Protecting the environment, everyone is responsible," and I think of one thing when it comes to protecting the environment.
It's a sunny afternoon, my mother and I happily went downstairs for a walk, inadvertently, I found on the green lawn with an old, dirty battery. Batteries are a killer of our environment! A small button cell can contaminate 600 cubic meters of water, the equivalent of a person's lifetime drinking water. A 1-1 battery is damaged in the ground, which can make a square metre of land lose its value and cause permanent damage. “勿以善小而不為，勿以惡小而為之。”作為一名小學生，我們要從我做起，從小事兒做起，從身邊做起，從現在做起，撿起地上每一片紙屑，愛護花草樹木，關愛小動物。讓我們一起去尋找綠的世界，讓我們的世界變得更加美好!

首先，應該告訴市民，要關注每一件環保的事，積極做環保工作，不要隨手扔垃圾、看到垃圾要及時撿起。其次，要把廢舊電池該扔哪的問題解決好，應該把這件事給做得更完善：在一些地方分放一些回收廢舊電池的筒，每天都有專門負責的人去取。這樣一來，不管是住在偏遠地區，還是住在熱鬧的地方，都可以很方便的.把廢舊電池處理了，再也不會發生人們不知道廢舊電池怎么處理，就把廢舊電池扔進垃圾箱里的事了。最后，政府應該增加一個環保工作者的職務，讓更多的人投身于環保工作當中!
